How Do These Folks Do it? (iPhone + Unlock)

I've seen on eBay many times that many folks can unlock any AT&T iPhone, including in contract iPhones.
I know it's true becuase I've used some of their services and I was able to get my iPhone unlocked in less than 24 hours.

But I urgently need to know how these guys do it? Contacts at AT&T? Apple? (pay them off?)

Perhaps I'll start my own unlocking business if I find the "secret forumula".

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would greatly apprciate it..

Actually Many of the People who run mobile shops are running dis service in ebay...

You can unlock your iPhone right thru "Cydia" ofcourse you need to first "Jailbreak" your iPhone with "RedSn0w" but after you've jailbroken your iPhone it's just a matter of installing "UltraSn0w" thru "Cydia" and following the prompts to get it unlocked.

I have my iPhone jailbroken with "RedSn0w" but it's not unlocked, I don't need it unlocked as I have AT&T as my carrier.

You can find tons of videos on youtube that will step you thru the process of Jailbreaking and Unlocking, it's not hard to do.

isnt jailbreaking only for you to use cracked apps , so you dont have to pay for them?

No, while it is true that you can download and install just about any iPhone app without having to buy them, jailbreaking primarily removes Apple's strangulating restrictions and gives you full access to the iOS.

NO, its not that hard. You could just contact the sellers and cut them a deal. Basically you bring customers and they pay you a % of sales.
 
Green poison is another unlocking software that works well and it's free!
 
I can factory unlock phones any quantity i got 3 service 6-24hrs, 3-12 hrs and 1min-30mins and cheap rates but need higher quantity
 
It still does not answer the question how these folks do it. I really want to know, PM me and we can talk business cause I have servers to host unlocking sites.
 
Did you ever find how they do it, and what software they use to send IMEI numbers to apple?
 
If anybody leak the secret,his business gets hurt.When he knows the secret,he might probably know how to make money out of it ;).If he leaks the info he is bringing the competitor directly in to the market

Yeah Derek is right, and there are many programs out there that do one click jailbreaking which you can then use redsn0w to unlock. It's really not as difficult as you'd expect.

You have to sleep with someone from apple who has access to the server...thats the "cheapest" way to do it.
