I'm a sucker for asking these types of questions, but always want to get different viewpoints. It also helps people discuss ideas...

This guy has been going for years. I have been following him for at least 1.5 years. Always been monetized. Just uses clips from onilne and does a bit of easy voiceover, job is done.
Earlier this year I got intrigued, so messaged several channels that do exactly the same thing just to see if I could get any responses. One channel, which is doing really well did come back to me. Their videos are better quality and they had way fewer subs at the time.
He confirmed that he was not part of an MCN, and just editing the videos the best he could. No issues with licensing.
But I don't really believe that 100%.
Anyone got any experience with this? Do they license the clips in the video? Or do they heavily edit it to bypass the content check?
