How Do Taxes Work?

I am currently staying in USA for 3 months with work and travel program.

- Could I open a Paypal account and start accepting money with it? If they ask for verification can I approve it with my documents?

- Would there be taxes for my online payments as a freelancer? Can I send that money to my family through bank or any other service like WU without any problem?

You might consider studying the tax situation of the actual country where you permanently reside or are domiciled in. Temporarily visiting the US or other nation may not make you subject to their tax jurisdiction.

All the money you make (especially online) is tracked

They see the incoming monies to the paypal and your bank account

You are obligated to pay taxes on that amount at the end of the year

If not they will come knocking on your door literally
