how do some people get away with monetizing obvious copyrighted material ?

i see videos like this all over youtube .
usually it's an entire channel dedicated to posting popular talk show episodes in low definition . some accounts have doing this for over 5 years with impunity .
these videos look easy to rank too .

anyone here doing something similar ? is it profitable enough to merit the ban risk ?

The video is cropped/zoomed in and the pitch is raised so it bypasses the copyright filters

I also frequently upload copyright material I don't think people wlll care about anymore

apparently the uploader didn't get away with it, at least not for long more than likely thanks to OP's post and this is why it's never a good idea to out other people's videos here, just like you don't out fanpages etc.
