How do sites like this rank?

So I've searched for "free iphone unlock" on Google and found 45,000,000 results. People always say that you need articles, content, and all that stuff but I see websites like this: iphoneimei. info that are ranked number 1 and I ask myself "how".
Anyone cares to explain?

Have you check backlinks profile of that website?
 
Yes, build backlinks. and to check the backlinks go to AHRefs, or Majestic, or SiteExplorer.org

before you go blasting your site with backlinks to reach his 75K backlinks, ensure you follow the quality over quantity principle. He probably acquired them over a long period of time.

It could just be a churn and burn. But yes, do not blast your site with links if you want long term rankings
 
Check the flow of links,they've made.It's very steady and had a stable rythm.Don't think it's a churn and burn.

Its all about backlinks, check that and you would know why they rank where they do.
 
Also, you shouldn't reveal the URL here. Now Google will destroy that site.

Yeah this person definitely knows what the hell they are doing because they're right below Facebook, get their contact information so I can hire them to do work for me

If you want to learn SEO. You need to understand what is backlnks how it works.
Kind of backlinks. Focus on getting good backlinks instead of garbage ones
 
There's a way to know if these 75k backlinks were built over period of days, months or years?
