I’m trying to understand how Reddit’s upvote system works nowadays. I know it's not as simple as just getting a bunch of upvotes anymore. Can anyone shed light on the following?
Just looking for updated info or experiences from people who’ve tested this recently.
Thanks in advance!
- Does account age or karma affect how much weight an upvote carries?
- Is there a difference in impact between early upvotes vs. later ones?
- Do bot upvotes still work, or are they easily detected now?
- How important is engagement (comments, saves, shares) vs. just upvotes?
- Does subreddit size or activity affect how upvotes rank your post?
- Any insight on vote fuzzing or score delay that Reddit uses?
