How do random people with "nothing special" grow accounts?

IG is my most used social media and I have a decent following, but it is hard to keep growing. When I look through the explore page or otherwise from account-to-account I often end up on young peoples accounts where they get thousands of likes and have quite a nice number of followers, yet their content is nothing special. How?

I mean, some of them are bigger or smaller YTers, some are popular elsewhere, but most are not - they just have big accounts for some reason. I doubt they are all botting or doing other similar things. Any tips?

EDIT: By "Nothing special" I don't mean they post complete nonsense and literal trash, but it's just not much different from another account who posts decent content, if you know what I mean.

Bots

Almost everyone on every social network, even the most successful accounts, are just random people with nothing special.

Find something you like and which you can fill hundreds of hours with and do it in front of a camera, that's all.

Generally they know a lot of people in real life, are quite socially active or known somewhere else.

Or just female.

You were asking the same kind of trivial basic about IG in december/2017. Also, you didn't post anything from 2014 to december 2017? That's almost 4 years. What were you doing for almost 4 years?

Because they are relevant among their friends. Note that we never took IP blacklist in our consideration. Ask yourself, if you have a website and you detect someone spamming your website. What will you do? I will ban their IP. Now, if they are smart, they will use VPN or Private proxy. But, most of us don't because we are lazy. Either we use our own IP or we use cracked or free VPN and remember that everyone with our mentality is doing same thing.

So, make yourself real before being famous. What will a real girl do if she has an Instagram account? She will add her friends (girls) and not some random boys. Then, horny boys will add her.

So what will a business (restaurant) do? They will add famous doctors and noticed some random jerks who play clash of clans. People will come for the you if you feel like real because they are smart. You can create clash royale account and follow the everyone. That's a waste of time and money. You start with local niches with some popular markets like hospital, parking etc and you earnings money from them. Then you scale up.

Dm Groups, power likes, Networks

I've got on m personal acc 600 likes and 100 comments only from dm groups, no one care bout me, but it seems like lol

Everyone is "random people with nothing special" some might be famous IRL while others active on the platform and know what works but no one is special not even you. Decent content is not the sole reason for social growth anymore. Also the way you worded the post and replies in this thread reeks of ego maybe thats the reason why you can't grow anymore.

I'd make it simple here.

1) Either they know how to hit the sweet spot to get onto explore page everytime they post

2) Or they're getting marketing done through some professional agency (not the regular agencies who just follow/unfollow)

3) Or they are in connection with some high profile people with alot of big audience so they get the juice everytime a big profile likes/comments on the person's pictures/videos.

4) They are harnessing the power of hashtags or tagging brands/people in pictures. Like if you create a fan page for robert downey jr and keep adding good content and someday you get lucky when he may follow you back and like/comment on your content and does it couple of times, you can expect your page to grow to 6 figures easily.

best use a method and good niche to build grate accoubts quilty not quanty is 2018.

There are many ways to increase the number of subscribers published in Internet resources. Many people like everything they saw on their own tape. If you have 15k followers you will have a big chance to get 100 likes. But it will be less than 1%. How do you think - is it real?
Ask your friends to discuss your messages. And if the discussion is interesting, people will join the discussions. If you have a lot of feedback and answers, Insta will check you as "interesting" and will recommend you.
That's why "Nothing special" can take many likes.
