How do People Create Private Proxies?

I was just hoping someone might be able to shed light on how to create your own private proxies?

Buy vps for example and install proxy software there. There are different softwares you can use i think. You can also buy more Ips for your server so you have many proxies. Cheapest ips iw seen were 0.5€ or 0.75$ / ip/month :)

So essentially people are making their own server or getting a VPS and putting proxy software on it?

How does someone get all the different ip classes and locations then?

Well isn't that pretty obviois , take server from different locations ...
 
First of all rent a VPS or Dedi, then justify to ICAN why you want more ip's and you can
have as many ip's as your server can handle as long as you can justify them.
I have no problem getting 250 ip's per VPS or dedi server.
Locate your servers in as many locations as possible.

How do ou justify the use of the 250 ips?

No provider will allocate 250 IPs for usage of proxies.. . If you are able to find one, then you gotta be lucky...It may work on dedicated servers

The only way is to co-locate your servers in a data center... This way its cost effective..

could you shed a little light on the stuff you tell ICAN - I have always had issues getting C blocks justified.

Any hints would be great.

where have u seen extra ips for .75? the cheapest i've seen is $1.
 
I've seen a vps provider that said that you can have as many ips at no extra charge as you can justify to ICAN, they provide you with the form, you fill it up and if it's all good ... You're lucky. Just don't remember the prvider's name. Ouch.

Edit: sorry, no extra charge to pay to them, but you still have to pay the fee to ICAN, which can get fat.
 
Sorry for the noobie question but how many private proxies can I make with just 1 IP per month?

1 IP to 1000 proxies or more?
or just 1 IP to 1 proxy?
 
I really think if you wanna get proxies you most pay and VPS is a nice way, you can also pay for someone to make you Proxies
