How do parasites rank so fast?

Hello,

So I have seen lots of parasites in my niche lately and they seem to rank pretty fast.

Upon checking with ahrefs, there are literally 0 or 1-2 backlinks that are being found. All of them have keywords stuffed and no real content.

I tried replicating this and also sent some low-quality links, but the highest I got was on spot #30 for a keyword that has 18 KD as per kwfinder.

Is someone able to bring some insights here?

The Domain Authority is high and also parasites rank so fast.

Parasites rank high because of their high authority. If you want to outrank them, provide good content. When users ignore parasites and check your website, Google increases your rank. Just focus on what audience want as you've already reached #30, and avoid keyword stuffing.

Keyword stuffing still works, although not as much as it used to.
Another thing to consider with this is how long the page has been up for.
As @710fla mentioned, it's also possibly that they're blocking third party crawlers. One or two good links from a hidden pbn can skyrocket the rankings.

In terms of doing it yourself on a budget, quality content is key. I've said it before, but when I'm making a parasite, I write the content as though it's money site content. If its going to make you money, then why skimp on the quality?
How you build backlinks to it is another thjng. You mentioned the low quality links. Were these blog comments, GSA links, or powerless web 2.0s? When I say powerless, I mean thin, one page sites.

Solid advice - maybe the links should be high quality as well. The key is to leverage the domain authority of the parasite platform, right?

Those were mainly blog comments and wiki links which I purchased from a third-party seller, but I didn't send much (just like 1,000)...no web 2.0s. I believe they're from GSA. I know this might be a long shot, but would you be able to recommend a PBN provider by any chance?
