Hello this is my first post since joining the forum. So if I placed this in the wrong section please let me now. Thank you. But anyway I was curious how do new twitter accounts with less than 30 tweets get so many retweets right off the start?? Seriously I will see some with 30 tweets and 3000 followers and they will get 300 retweets per tweet and it doesn't make sense to me. I have 11,000 followers and I will be lucky to get 6 retweets sometimes.

There are a couple of ways.

1) It's ran by someone who already has a huge following that's building new accounts and using his big accounts to promote it.

2) They could be using a tweetdeck and have access to other accounts who could retweet it.

3) They could have bought promotions.

4) They could be fake retweet/favs.

I'm assuming it's fake retweets because I went back and looked at who followed that account and retweeted for them and I didn't notice any large accounts

Well it doesn't really matter if you saw any big ones that did because A) Twitter doesn't show everyone who retweets a tweet, it just shows a few that did and B) When a big account retweets something they undo the retweet after a certain amount of time.

They could buy the retweets, or perhaps just have a very active following. 11k followers 6 retweets seems very low

Just follow people and also follow people you are interested in and their followers. Favourite peoples tweets that interest your twitter account

I've been doing Twitter work for ages. These 4 are the most common. Often times bigger accounts don't want to lose followers through monetization and so they create smaller accounts and retweet monetized content on there.

This could be possible only if they are fake retweets they could buy some services for that...

There are some providers that offer similar services like 100-200 retweets in each tweet.
So when you post new tweet you will get automatically retweets so your account will not look spammy.
Accounts that will retweet can be fake accounts or real looking accounts (with pictures and some followers)

yeah its a risky place to be, id rather have somebody offer me 10x retweets from various genuine accounts than 1000x fake ones! Also much like all other social media if the retweet / like / share is fake! its useless!! just a little boost of your ego!

hey mate,

Welcome to BHW....
The re tweets most of the time all are reel not real and sometime people using bot so only they got that much level of retweets....

It's possible it's a fake account. I've seen many accounts that just started and have many re-tweets. Usually they're fairly popular ones though, so it's possible it's legit. But I've seen fake accounts getting many re-tweets too.
