How do Instagram / Tumblr bots work?

I'm considering looking into getting setup with one or even making one myself. But I've just never seen it as a possibility because of IP addresses.

So how does that work? I know if I had a big big website, I would automatically ban IP addresses if they were making too many requests to my servers. But would that not be the case with these other companies? Like if I ran like type of like bot, would it even get that far? Or is there some type of magic tool where it constantly is changing your IP?

Unless you have proxies you can't do that many requests on the instagram bots without getting banned.

They come with a proxy list feature, where you load your own proxies in and they use that. Then you just load another list in etc etc

Yea to use any automated bots like these, for other social networking sites as well (FB, Twitter) you are going to need to buy some proxies.

There are alot of good vendors in the marketplace here who sell them. You could also try a website like proxy bananza as well. I currently use them and the proxies work great.

Anyone know of a bot that will get rid of ghost followers? :/ Someone bought me a bunch of fake followers and now they are holding me back from the pop page.

'exorcist' isnt working anymore i guess :/

You should learn what a proxy is, if your going to be BH you will need them.

yea that doesnt work anymore, and most bots liek that are short lived once IG goes through their updates

Almost all the bots that allow you to actually create accounts are gone. If you have a bot you absolutely need proxies and you can only make 2-3 accounts per proxy and then you can't use it anymore.
