Indexing services like IndexMeNow or IndexChex don’t directly “force” Google to index pages, and they’re not just simple backlink builders either.
What they usually do is create signals that help discovery—like temporary backlinks, pinging systems, RSS feeds, redirects, or API-based submissions (mainly for Bing). These give search engines new paths to find your URL faster.
So yes, some backlinks may be involved, but they’re typically low-quality and short-lived. The real goal is speeding up crawling, not passing ranking power.
That said, if a page isn’t index-worthy (thin content, low value, duplicate), no indexer will make it stick. Indexing still depends mostly on content quality, site authority, and internal linking.

Great explanation by @awaisskhan. In my experience managing large-scale link-building projects, I've seen that while these tools are great for an initial crawl, the 'stickiness' of the index depends heavily on the domain authority of the source. If the profile or link is on a high DA/PA site, it usually stays indexed even if the temporary signals expire. Do you guys find that layering these indexers with social signals helps keep them live longer

Indexing tools like IndexMeNow or IndexChex usually don’t just create backlinks. They try to send signals to get attention from Google bots. Sometimes they use short-lived backlinks or crawl triggers, but these are not strong seo links. They mainly help discovery, not rankings.

They usually don’t “force” indexing most work by creating crawl paths (pings, feeds, low-tier links, traffic signals) to get Google’s bots to discover URLs faster. It’s more about discovery signals than direct ranking backlinks.

I've built my own indexing api before to submit many links at scale through GSC but it's not as useful as it once was now they nerfed it.
Does anybody have any info on specifics of what technical stuff these indexers are doing? Which RSS feeds, ping systems, where they place links to get Google to discover the URLs etc. I have many millions of URLs to submit and prefer to control my own stuff.

Yeah mostly they just create crawl signals tbh. Stuff like RSS, redirects, temp backlinks, social pings etc so Google finds the URL faster. Doesn’t really mean the page will stay indexed though, that still depends on content quality + authority. I’ve tested a few and they work better for tier links than main sites.

Services like “indexers” generally try to accelerate discovery and crawling of URLs by creating signals that attract search-engine crawlers. They are not magic direct-indexing APIs for normal websites.
