Hello!
I recently found an expired domain from 9 years ago with a DA of around 40.
Didn't find any spammy links and in fact the backlinks are from good sources.
The keywords in the domain is also very nice.
The only thing is that it has a (-) in between the two words.(Does it affect the value?)
I've only bought fresh domains till now and so I have no idea how to value an expired one and on what parameters..
The cost is around 1800 bucks.
Any tips or pointers?

Good amount of RD (Referring domains)
If you want to go for long term business I wouldn't suggest having a dash.
Its expired and cost is really high and you look into the marketplace there are good sellers they can find you a domain with good metrics.
value of domains:
RD (if domains you are linking are good and not web 2.0)
Traffic.
Age.
Spam anchor text and so on.. but these are are the main ones.

Thank you for answering..
You're right..although the keywords and age are good the dash is making it hard.
I'll consider it..
