How do I upload restored HTML files to c-panel?

I have a 4.4MB of HTML file that I have restored it from archive.org. I have a spaceship hosting. When I upload the file /undermydomainname then, everything works fine. But the issue will come after installing wp the custom sample page of wp will appear in the homepage. No restored content will appear after installation. What am I doing wrong? How will I build the connection between my backup files and wp? I have contacted support but this issue is beyond their scope. Help me, please.

WordPress and HTML are two different things.

WordPress is a CMS or a content management system. It is a set of PHP files, Javascript files and Stylesheets (CSS files). These work is coordination with a database.

The database stores all content, design guidelines and where to show what content. The PHP works in rendering these.

You have themes in WordPress, each theme is a different set of settings. Based on these, the location of the text, title, meta data is decided.

All these work in conjunction to output standard HTML in a browser. This is what is visible to both you and archive.

What you've downloaded from archive.org is the Snapshot of the website aka the rendered HTML.

Or you can hire someone here who can replicate your existing HTML files to WordPress, which you can then restore.

That's not a backup file, that's just the HTML

From my original post,

If you want to use the same design from the html files but in wordpress you will have build a theme or use any wordpress builder to copy that design.

If you're not a developer it will be better to hire a developer to do it for you.

There are some plugins & services for html to wordpress but they aren't 100% reliable.

I'm assuming you want to use the wordpress to manage your website but with same design as html files.

You're right. My bro is a developer so, it will be helpful if you guide me from where to start. You can also share the article

Just ask him to convert the html to a WordPress theme or build the same design as html using any WordPress builder.
 
If your HTML files are a complete site, you can upload the entire structure to a subfolder like /html_backup or something similar.

If I will build the exact same design with wp builders then, there's no point to pay for tools to get HTML files from WMD. How can I convert HTML to wp theme? Any recommendation?

The tools you're talking about are used when there's a large amount of data to be retrieved from the waybach machine, in cases, where the former site has a lot of pages. They are in place because often times a single snapshot may not have all the html pages. The tools go through multiple snapshots within a time period to sort of rebuild the site.

This information is then either cloned 1:1 to the existing site or just the text and images (if available) are used to restore the site in WordPress.

The idea is to get the page as close as possible to the page in Google's index (or former index) residing at the exact same URL as before.

You can just place the html code on a wp page or post.
