My test exams will start in a few days, but I can't concentrate on my studies. How can I focus on my studies? Can someone give me some tips?

Here are mostly users who failed their exams, haha.

I think you just need to learn to take responsibility for your life. If you don't know how to study, don't do it, but then don't complain.

I want to do it, but I start very late. And I only remember some of what I read, and forget the rest.:(

Just quit your studies. You obviously aren't interested enough to study all the time, and retain information from your course. What were you doing during your time instead? lol

They will kick me out of the house if I don't study. :( :D

If he becomes a doctor in real life, he's guaranteed to make money. Trying to make money online is more likely to lead to bankruptcy or no way of earning any money at all.

You just need to understand that everything you want to do right now scrolling through your phone, playing games, or other forms of entertainment isn’t what matters most. Yes, you’re young, and you’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy all of that later. Just start working, even if it's not for many hours a day. Begin small

I’m working part-time at the moment, mostly handling practical tasks, so I’m not really involved in reading or writing right now.

If you’re really worried about studying and truly want to do it, start by making a list of tasks. Organize your study time and keep your phone and other distractions away. Begin with short study sessions and slowly increase the time day by day.

I am trying to do these.

Don’t beat yourself up too much, this happens to way more people than you think, especially when exams are close and your brain goes into panic mode instead of focus mode.

I finished college a long time ago and I’m a programmer now, and trust me, I still have to study almost every day. The difference is you learn how to study in a way that doesn’t fry your brain.

A few things that actually help in practice:
First, break everything into very small topics. Don’t sit down thinking “I need to study the whole subject”, that’s a great way to do nothing. Sit down with one tiny goal, like one chapter, or even just 10–15 pages. Finishing small tasks gives you momentum and reduces that overwhelmed feeling.

Second, environment matters more than motivation. Clean desk, phone out of reach, no random tabs open. Some people focus better with low volume lofi or instrumental music, others need silence, but avoid anything with lyrics, your brain will try to sing instead of study.

Third, before you start, take 3–5 minutes to slow down. Sounds silly, but a short breathing or meditation break helps your brain switch from stress mode to work mode. If you start studying already anxious, retention goes out the window.

About forgetting what you read, that’s normal if you only read. Try active recall. After a few pages, stop and ask yourself what you just learned and write a few bullet points from memory. It feels slower, but you’ll remember way more.

Also, pick a fixed study time every day, even if it’s not perfect. Your brain likes routines. Studying “whenever I feel like it” usually means “never”.

You don’t need to be in love with your studies to get through exams, you just need to be consistent for a short period of time. Do a bit every day, protect that time, and don’t wait for motivation to show up, it’s usually late and drunk.

You can do this. Exams are temporary, the habits you build now will help you way beyond school. Keep pushing, one small topic at a time.

Use pomodoro technique. It helped me a lot during my collage exams.

Start super small. Pick one subject and study for 25 min then take a 5 min break.

Remove distractions, put your phone away, and make a simple checklist you will feel more in control and focus better.

I can vouch for this, Id also recommend getting a digital kitchen timer to have on your desk aswell to avoid setting a timer on ur phone so you dont accidentally brain rot

Go to the forest where there is no internet. It's the only way to help you concentrate on your books
