How Do I Spend $40 If Ive Never Made Money Before

the first part of this post is just my background, history, and where im coming from

ok i have an seo site thats made under $1000 the last year. i use mac and cant use bots please dont even suggest a way to use windows on mac its just difficult. im not good with projects like you are, facebook, youtube stuff, torrent stuff anything ive seen for the last whatever years and im not on here all the time, every other day lately, but i just hope something someday will work for my situation

ive been affiliated with shareasale for like 6 months and do a ton of social media probably more than anyone here would agree with or think of but i get a ton hits from it, but im not big time at all like most of you guys. i just have sites or blogs i started and have been doing for awhile or some new autoblogs for about a year

i even post my affiliate links, amazon links, or site links on google+ communities in my niche that have 600,000 members and still noones buying

i have like 20 affiliates thru shareasale and some specific ones and have most or so on like ten sites. a forum that isnt active yet but gets the most hits, a movie preview site which is cool to me it updates by itself and whatever, two blogs i pay for posts, and the rest are autoblogs which are just there which i still promote and link to from all my sites, and get good traffic from

ive had no sales from any of my affiliates for 6 months, whether somethings wrong with shareasale or whatever, has anyone heard of a problem, i know sites like clickbank which alot of you make money from but they have had problems for years its on google everywhere so i quit them rite away mine wasnt working

i never have money to spend it doesnt matter why i never do but i have $40 freaking dollars i respect you guys with. as far as i know you are the smartest money making people on the internet, at least gathered together. a forum, not like DP in anyway, but i know you guys get things done period, i hate the saying tho

i like the sales threads theres tons of sites, sites that are supposed to make money, i cant get traffic by myself tho. whatever, if it is designed to make me money automatically without my support for traffic under $40 i would be interested in it

ive had a couple $100 campaigns on adwords and bing but i still have had nothing. if anyone can get me bing or adwords coupons for $3 for $100 old accounts which i can get on seoclerks for $3 for $100 for an old account or $200 ones for the the same ratio please contact me. the guy has his gig on seoclerks suspended rite now

its targeted traffic, seo stuff, seo services, content even. movie stuff, dvds, new york times bestselling books, pregnancy stuff which i get alot of traffic for. and popular stuff, im not good with landing pages tho, im not good with graphics and just dont have the time

i got good stuff what can i do, what can possibly make me money with $40, im not like you, $40 to my life situation is 2 packs of cigs and a bottle of whiskey every once in awhile not like a tank of gas for guys you every couple of days

its hard to understand what you want to tell here with us.. But as much as i can see you want to make money simply using your $40.. first of all you dont need too much money to make money just need mind.. you need to join well affiliate network . and create blog and promote in Google via commenting or anything which can be help full to generate traffic.. but make sure use best method not like crap... and you can also promote in Bing ads

Just the fact you can ask about investing such a small sum of money ... with 0 ability to form any sensible business plan ON YOUR OWN.... will make everyone rightfully assume that you don't know a thing about business or marketing. And worse, that you're not willing to learn a thing about business or marketing.

People need to stop approaching marketing from a marketing standpoint and think of it from a business standpoint.

When I see a thread like this it is impossible for me to have any sympathy for you. You are SURROUNDED by business and marketing on a daily basis. SURROUNDED by CREATIVITY AND IDEAS. Billions of dollars getting exchanged from person A to person B every single day yet you can't think of 1 single simple fucking thing to do?

To be honest, I don't care that you're broke. And I've helped lots of broke marketers before. But I refuse to help someone who is broke in the brain and lacks as much creativity as you do. Like you're waving $40 cash in a room with a blank piece of paper in your hand, asking someone else to pick up a pencil and do your thinking for you.

I'm dead serious about this. If you don't like the fact I'm being blunt that's not my problem. Cause I'm telling you exactly what I would tell myself if I asked a question like you're asking now.

By your post, you sound like you lack a lot of skills or have wasted so many years learning helplessness that you're blind to all the natural skills you do have. At any rate, business and marketing require skills. Same as a mechanic. And most of the best mechanics I know didn't get that way by standing on a street with a sign that said, "help me fix cars... I have $40".

Maybe I'm being hard on your man but if there is 1 thing I seriously can't stand, more than anything, it's a person who can't think of IDEAS. There are millions of different niches you can enter at any time and start working on. I suggest you do the following:

1) MASTER keyword research, market research and competition analysis. These are the most basic skills of any good marketer. Open up Googles Keyword Planner, get a free scraper and start doing work. First time I did keyword research I wasted 40 hours analyzing, researching and writing down my best niches. I can drop a list of niches for you right now but it wouldn't serve you any good if you don't have basic research skills.

2) MASTER web design. Any monkey can learn how to install wordpress. That $40 would be useful to buy a domain and hosting. That's probably what everyone else will recommend but if you don't actually work on learning skills first, you're just gonna have a useless domain in a competitive niche that you can't drive traffic in.

3) LEARN how to sell. I can go on forever about this but it's really not hard. Just swipe material from other marketers than reword it for yourself. That's what most copywriters do.

4) MASTER the art of driving traffic. If you're keyword research is solid, then you don't need to be that good at SEO. In fact, you can suck at it. Most marketers hate doing **real** keyword research, they think it's boring, they don't push themselves, they don't properly analyze markets, they don't properly analyze competition... but they may make up for that with a solid mastery of SEO, SM, forum marketing, paid traffic or other forms of driving traffic. But in your position, you need STRONG leverage. And the way you do that is by mastering the 1 weakness most marketers have. That is >>keyword research. Trust me on this. I cracked my first revenue stream online by finding excellent keywords with little to no competition. Which gave me money to target some very competitive niches.

In the end the formula is simple:

TARGETED OFFER + TARGETED TRAFFIC = $$$

A lot of marketers can't find a starting point cause they think marketing is suppose to be this fun and exciting thing. And it can be. But it tends to start off ruthlessly repetitive and boring. Once you start making money that changes but you need to be willing to work, and tolerate extreme boredom to develop your skills.

Like I said, I suggest you start off by devoting a minimum of 30-40 hours researching lists of keywords and analyzing markets. If you need a list of niches I have a massive list. Then I have smaller lists of niches I've worked extremely hard to isolate. So naturally I'd be giving you my shittier lists. I'd never hand over a list of green niches I know are profitable cause **I** spent the time figuring that out. And I'm hesitant about giving you any lists at all right now cause you don't really strike me as the type who's willing to put the work in.

Your post reads as if it was written right after you polished off one of those bottles of whisky you mentioned.

It sounds like you have some sites, and you have traffic in certain niches. If I was you, I would put my efforts into the sites themselves. If you are not converting any of the traffic you are receiving, then investing your last $40 into generating more traffic may not be worth it. If your bounce rate is high and your time on site is low then sending floods of traffic to it won't really help.

You need to make sure your site is engaging and provides a solution to an issue your audience is interested in. Use the traffic you are receiving now to test the conversion quality of your sites.
