@ Op, find any exchangers who can provide funds in your guy's desired mode and pay the exchanger your preferred paypal or any other but u will lose some % as commission though

Just like as others said, you can go to a WU branch near your location and walk with cash in hand. No need for a CC or something.

Or you can try Gcash I heard they accept Paypal payments.

Goodluck.

People in the philippines like to use westernunion because it is the easiest and fastest way to receive and send money. within 10 minutes after the receiver sent the money the money is already ready for pick up in any WU branches which almost every corner in the Philippines you can find. If you sent it to the bank then they have to wait for days before they receive it and usually the bank requires a lot before they get the money. Paypal is not that easy because they have to link their card and it also have 3 days before the money will be successfully transfered to your card. So what would you choose if you were in their position :)

Moneygram is a good alternative to Western Union
and a bit cheaper. The receiver gets the money instantly.
You don't have to use debit.credit card.

I have hired a number of people from the Philippines and worked with them before, I use Xoom usually. They can pickup the money instantly and the money can come from your bank account or credit card. Obviously be careful who you are sending money too, avoid the sob stories make sure the person is legit.

uh I dont want to read 34 replies but why doesnt a cash transfer with WU work, or moneygram, or a wire transfer?

The recipient doesn't have PayPal and prefers a Western Union transfer, however I don't have a cc and that doesn't work.
Payza would work nicely but depositing money from bank takes 3-4 days.

So, how can I send money there instantly? recipient has a PH bank account.

You mentioned you don't have a cc but do you have a debit card? That could work like a cc and Ria Money Transfer has a promo right now where your first send is free (usually cost around $5 to send, just like WU or MG). If you send by debit card you could send it directly to the recipient's PH bank account. If you don't have a debit card either then your only choice is sending directly from your bank account.

I just did this a few days ago. Used my debit card and the money was in my cousin's PH bank account in less than an hour.

The way you post . it gives a lot of negative meaning specially to the Filipinos.

I've worked for a client for 5 years and my preferred method was WU. I also got other clients that should have paid me using WU but chose to run and not pay.

Better to be on the safer side of things. If it isn't that important better lay off sending the money. Not because it's somebody from the Philippines but because it seems a little shady. We have Paypal here in the Philippines and it's so easy to get a Debit Card to get a paypal account here. If he or she is claiming that she/he can't get a paypal account then either he's to lazy or he's living in a mountain or he/she is a scammer. Be very careful.

If you are comfortable with the idea of doing it online, you can send money online to the Philippines by visiting the website of Qwarta Padala. I came across that site when I was looking for cheaper ways of sending money to the Philippines. The prevailing exchange rate that they provide is good and the service fee that they charge is fixed at only P200.00 (4.70 USD). Creating an account was free. Pay it a visit who knows it might provide you what you might need for I also use Western Union before but this is way cheaper.
