I know a person that has a high traffic domain thats parked and he is not currently using or maybe even forgot about it.

The thing is that he is using fake address and phone number and who is. How do I report the domain so that i can get it? Its registered with Yahoo

Why would you want to? If the OWNER of the domain is making money off parking the site, what does it matter if he/she is joe public at 1 main street?

I just don't get it.

well, theres always the possibility he wants to contact him.. seems kinda obvious.

Anyways, try contacting the domain register that its registered at.

Its not meant for you to get:D

The whois results will list the registrar's information. Contact the registrar, usually abuse@ registrar or support@registrar.. Put something in the subject about ICANN contact information regulations, mention that in the body and the domain in question.. have fun.

you won't get it just because you reported it....most likely the registrar will contact the owner. and even if the person did happen to lose the name, chances are others will snatch the name before you (especially if it's a high traffic domain)

why don't you just make an offer on the name?

thats just juvenile

you tell you playmate's mom that her son is playing a toy that doesnt belong to him for the reason that you envy him and you want the toy to be yours?

believe me, you wont succeed getting the domain - you may think that youre smart reporting the domain to the registrar, but little did you know, the owner already has a contingency plan

anyway....

you can report it to ICANN, but they won't unregister the domain...they just take it down for incorrect whois....

are you sure they didnt use private registration? most likely if its high traffic they did.
