Hey guys, had a little browse around the forum and couldn't find an answer.

For some strange reason the meta text in our site now reads:

"Choose online blackjack to play any popular roulette variant in USA. Every casino game is available on the free texas holdem online. The maximum number of ..."

Keeping in mind our site has nothing to do with Blackjack etc, and I did not add this text :S

Is there a quick fix to this, or what is the best way to remove and get my old Meta data back?

Also for the future how would someone have done this?

Install the SEO Ultimate plugin, and remove spammy meta. If you didn't enter this info, your site might have been hacked.

Why does this feel like deja vu?

In any case dude, if it's Wordpress, I'm guessing you're using a "nulled" theme. Easiest way is to change themes. I would go a step further though, and reinstall WP, just to be safe.

Reinstall WP and get a good security plugin. I recommend one called Ithemes security (used to be called Better WP Security)

Get rid of that 'free theme' you're using, and instead buy one from a legit website :)

I would make the point that just because you paid money for the theme doesn't mean it's not nulled - you should instead get a theme from a high-rep site, and then install one of the security plugins mentioned above. If the problem occurs again, contact your hosting company - they may have an issue.
