How do i reach 1 million likes?

Hello, i have a ManUtd facebook fan page which is around 360k. How do i get it to 1million likes? All the top ManUtd fan pages have been recommended by facebook, How do i get into their recommendations list?

Do some intense research when trying to find content for your page, also try to make content specific for your top demographic.

Suggested fanpage mode?

1. Hire someone to post interesting content 6-8 times a day - spaced out evenly along the day. Remember that image posts reach more people than posts with links in them. In the posts ask people to share the content.

2. Run Facebook ads for your page. Keep the CPC to the very minimum - 0.01 cents or pounds. You can try a CPM ad too to see if you get a better conversion rate with it. However keep a upper limit on the total spend. if the conversion rate drops, you could end up wasting a lot of money.

3. Join various facebook groups related to your page. Participate in those groups and share your facebook page link.

Remember that once your page starts getting enough organic shares, facebook may start recommending it to people. This would be free organic growth, so the #1 point above is the most important.
