how do i rank through a manual seo

Hello every guys working out here.
I have been doing seo manually since 3-4 month ago. The keyword is of search 3600
I have hardly bring my site to 2nd page but it back went to 14th page.
I do forum post for the ranking my site. I do self forum post. I dont know my method is right or wrong. Some guys I chat with says "Google don’t like my seo method ( I think you do black hat seo ) so it you penalized."

So any guys pro out here who can give me a better suggestions i will be very thankful.
Please give me some tips how do i correclty do forum post.
How do i rank my site faster doing this method.

Currently i am doing in this way is forum:
Register then put signature(BBCode) on profile
Then post the new topic on the forum. I put my signature on the text.

Is this correct method. If its wrong then please anybody help me to get the right method.

Doing forum posting alone will not get you to the top pages of google. You have to diversify the link building strategies, publish high quality contents and make sure your site is perfectly optimised (both on & off page).

Get some high quality backlinks from sites relevant to your niche and also authority sites if possible. These links are highly recognised by G, so you will have better improvement in terms of ranking.

Ok but is my method of doing forum post is correct.
I am currenty doing gaming niche. So so i buy a backlink for that to get that.
and how do i get high quality backlink and authority sites.

Forum posting is also one of the good methods to drive traffic especially if you're on a targeted forum with much active users.
