CeoSam is gone, so there is no savior now. you might know he was a scam and bullshit, but mate the fun is over, don't pull newbies to search for him on the net and fall for it. Newbies want to learn and maybe that jerk will take advantage of it and rub more people. in my opinion his name shall be forbidden and forgotten so no newbies search for him. (don't misunderstand what i am saying, i got nothing against you and i know you were making fun)
@OP, try learning seo basics at start and don't forget adwords (if you are selling anything) it is good to be #1 at serp but dont forget it is better to be #1 at adwords + #1 at serp.

It is all about the meta tags hahaha. No man if you want to rank you really do need to pick a competitor and in your own unique way clone everything they do. It will take you many hours and lots of hard work. Just Do iT!

first, analyze your competitor (backlink profile) and copy full them.
create unique articles and post to quality web 2.0s. check here that guy compiled to good list already.

use mozilla and install seoquake, then browse google using related keyword. find sites with good parameter and try to comment there. repeat it everyday.
and blast you tier 1 (blog comment + web 2.0s) with gsa / senuke / other.
