How do i rank higher in my feild

Hi, I have a 5-year-old website whose traffic declined due to Google updates. The domain was about to expire, so I switched to a new domain extension, which is now 2 months old. I didn't migrate to Google Search Console in time, but that isn't a significant issue since my current traffic is better than it was with the old domain. I'm concerned that the delay and migration might have impacted my progress; the last two months have been my most active, while I was not active at all with the previous domain.

I've already followed most SEO best practices, and my website ranks first for most keywords, but I still don't see much traffic. Although it is gradually increasing day by day, I would appreciate any tips you could provide me (no payments).

What do you mean by switching to a new TLD?
Did you redirect the old website to the new one or just clone it?

GSC change of address is not required, it's meant to notify Google and possibly speed things up,
As long as you're redirecting the old domain to a new one, there should be no problem,
You shouldn't do that if the old domain/website is penalized tho, just leave it as it's if that's the case
