How do I purchase multiple domains using promotion code or specials?

So if I want to purchase multiple domains using a special promotion or promo code or what not, what is the best way to do this?

Do I have to create different accounts, payment info and change ip address to do this?

Or can i just create a new account and use same payment info?

Create new accounts and use Vcc's

Different accounts and use VCC as stated in above post. Some registrars won't allow multiple accounts so there you will have to change IPs too.
