How do i protect my blog content from copiers?

I dont mean spinners but those who just blatantly copy paste anything in your blog post. Seriously I did not put time and effort and at times my hard earned money just for it to be blatantly copied.

You can disable right-click, but there are still ways around that. There really aren't ways to stop copycats other than not publishing your work.

Google does penalize them though, so not much to worry about.

No, Google does not penalize copycats. Moreover, if the copycat has higher authority, it will be considered as the primary source and will rank above you. I believe Backlinko did this research.

There's really no point in disabling right clicks unless you are trying to protect your text from an idiot.

Another trick you can try to protect from parsers is to implement an invisible span tag into your text with a bunch of links to your website, or some copyright text. The span will be hidden on your site due to stylesheets but will show when parsed and blindly pasted some place else.
 
Nothing. Disabling right click and other anti content theft tactics only inconvenience your readers but don't stop thieves/scrapers. As long as it can be read, it can be copied.

If you see someone copying your content, send a DMCA request or complain to the host.
 
the easiest way is to build authority on your blog and scheduling your posts to be delayed on RAD. Another effective way is to make your blog DMCA protected so that when you are plagiarized, the defaulted can be penalized.

Imo it's a wasted endeavor to try and stop content theives. Any text can be copied & pasted regardless of the protections in place and "its possible" for Google to penalize YOU for duplicate content on something you wrote if someone with a higher authority steals your stuff and they get crawled first.

Focus on HIGH quality content and the rest will follow
 
Encrypt the content, most idiots don't know how to decrypt it ;)

DMCA request for an random article? Good luck to take it down from serious providers, and good luck proving to any court that you own the copyrights for a random article.
