How do I promote my blog?

I just started an autoblog (blogfree.tv) and so far it is looking okay, I used BHWP to give it more posts and comments and messed around with the theme to make it look good. I added some ABOUT bit info and my email with my domain to it so far (I started three days ago) I get around 20 UV a day. 9 was the first day, I'm sure this is nothing to you guys and it's nothing to me my question is how do I promote it. I am currenly doing it via YouTube I have a YouTube bot spamming etc, I uploaded some TV Eps and watermarked them and uploaded clips and a url to my site to watch them. Currenly the CPA Gateway is off as I feel that would turn away people that might have come back. Any ideas? Thank you. :)

Hi, I've just made my new blog too. Just keep posting, remember what you want not happens in few days.
Just share, I've made my first post about 1 month ago. And now my blog listed in TOP 100 Tech in Technorati. You ask me the secret? Nothing answer from me, just keep posting! Try to find what's hot now, and post anything related to it :)

Just SEO till you get a high PR and post on other movie websites directing back to yours.
 
create content every day for a month, and see your PR... if google see freash content quickly they seem to spider your site quicker.
 
What about people that have like 50 autoblogs? How do they keep updating everyday?
 
Alright gives me hope, had 200+ UV which is an increase from 90 and from 19 the day before, thank you guys. And I have the same question as Mjordon. I'm also having a problem, if you visit my blog no CPA pops up until you click a post or category how do I fix this? Because people can just browser without filling anything in.

Wow! There are so many opportunities for you. Some include:

- Write articles using keywords with high search demand (so the search engines find you).

- Answer questions and get involved in discussions on relevant Linked In groups and link to your blog articles that relate to the discussion.
- Start a Face book business page and link to your blog articles there.

Start a Twitter account and use bit.ly to link to your blog articles there.

- Approach other bloggers and offer guest articles they can use on their blog (that then links to yours of course).

- Use aggregate services like StumbleUpon.

That should be enough to get you started!
 
For my WP I use twitter plugins and I also used a twitter friend finder to follow about 4,000 people and about 2700 are following me back. So every time my robot posts potentially 2700 people see the link. I say potentially because not everyone is on the net constantly besides me.
 
Sorry for no response didn't check the thread, I will try Twitter and making articles for SEO. How should I make an article exacly? Also FB I will try to.
 
Go make some t-shirts with your domain name on them in XS ladies. Then when you are out on a Saturday night at the club, find the hottest girls and give them a free shirt.

Nothing says 'click here' like a double D tight shirt. :)
 
awesome advice!!!! How do I find which keywords are good for me? Mine niche is law related.

  1. Frequent posts (minimum 1 every 3 days but preferably 1 a day).
  2. Article Marketing using big article directories.
  3. Image marketing (google images, etc).
  4. Directory submissions
  5. Classified ad submissions
  6. Submit your RSS feed to RSS directories (& submit the URL's too)
  7. Ping everything whenever you make a change or update - Ping everything!
  8. Social bookmarking
  9. Build out Web 2.0 properties using associated keywords & sprinkle content with LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) keywords
  10. Forum & blog commenting on RELATED blogs,
  11. PAD file submissions
  12. Press Releases
  13. Video Marketing
  14. ...Did i mention, Ping everything!

If you're consistently posting on your blog then that's perfect to promote...
What Im doing is some kind of link building. BAcklinking, and then in Forums making it as my sig and commenting into some other blogs. ur comments must not be spammy and a lot more...
 
I just got two sneak questions.
How do you market images?
When pinging what do you people prefer? I usually just go to 5 different pinging sites and ping my post.

I'm not sure if pinging the same thing at 5 different sites helps. I'd say one site would be good enough probably.

This does seem to be true. When I was running my directory website google seem to come by more once I started to have a flow of submissions coming in.

why not build backlinks, rank high, and receive organic traffic.. scrapebox and xrumer would come handy here..

the social media part would be linking your rss to twitter, and getting followers with some "tools"
