Ey do some of you promote on CJ on craigslist successfully? What is the best way to hide tracks....

What am thinking is putting throwaway domain link on craiglist with it redirecting to landing page or the offer?

Pray.

Lol, but seriously, domain redirects to LP's which have the offer, then change redirects every 24-48 hours after use.

So, Craigslist -> Domain Redirects -> to Landing Page -> to Offer
Then, Domain Redirects -> google.com or w/e you want.

That way, by the time CJ checks the link for a spam complaint or whatever, there will not be proof.

You can re-use the domain later on.

Hope this helps :)

ahhhh so basically the key is to change the throwaway domain every 24 hours. Like use a new domain every 24 hours to redirect to landing page then offer? Then rotate the domains so u use them for same offer like once a week?

It's what I do - I like to rotate every couple weeks though, just in case.

CJ is not a company to play around with. They have great companies/offers, but have a much firmer hand on BH activities.

I suggest re-applying after 3 to 6 months of steady CPA experience.

Why not just have a landing page that does not redirect but simply offers two choices - 1 your product(s) and the other a similar product or the same product with other options or addons or ?

I have found that 90% of people who land on a page like this will click through to the companies sales page or whatever page they are supposed to go to.

In this way, the referrer will always show as your landing page. I have found that redirects seldom show the page doing the redirect as the referrer.

CJ (or any other network, for that matter) only needs complaints to ban you. They'll use the complaints to accuse you, and since most of the time you are guilty of what you are being accused of, you won't pursue the money.

Changing the domain name every few hours isn't going to stop the complaints from coming in. And certainly won't keep your account safe.

If you want to push CL traffic and get paid, find offers outside of CJ or push enough volume that the advertiser would miss you if you stopped. Honestly, any network that gets pissy about me hiding my traffic sources doesn't deserve my business. If only CJ wasn't so ridiculously big.

Just a quick thought about the redirects. I'd certainly consider Oldenstylehats programs, don't have the thread handy, think it is called Referral Guardian (or something like that) then there is also a freebie that does much the same. Check that out, along with the suggestions above.

WP Plugin for CPA Redirect.

I can't remember who made it, but they posted it here and I bookmarked.
