I do affiliate marketing and my job requires me to sit in front of the computer and work.
I want to work at least 7 hours a day.
The thing about my job is that i have to be with myself while i am working. My job does not involve talking to someone or working in a group or socializing. My job requires me to sit on a chair for 7 hours a day and stare at my computer screen.
It is the same as someone who is writing a book or doing some other IM job. You have to be with urself(alone).

But every day, when i sit for work, i get this huge temptation to chit-chat with my managers or gossips with my friends(over the phone). Even though these things don't help me in my business. It's a pure waste of time.
But as we humans are social people. I find it difficult to sit alone for even 7 hours per day.

So, if someone who has been in a similar position as me and works alone, can you share...

LLots of people with signature space will come up explaining things to overcome loneliness. Just see Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and Jezz Bezos if you feel lonely.

I don't want to overcome it, i just want to learn to live with it. Because that's the nature of my job and there is nothing I can do about it.

This is a tough one coz human beigns are social beings. If in a position you may try working at night or early morning,
hours when most people are still resting or getting ready for work. Though you may try giving yourself loneliness
at intervals like switching off social media for two hours then sparing some few minutes to chat.
Or you may consider airplane mode while working.

Here try this:

It all depends on how interesting your business is to you. It's like with an interesting or uninteresting book.
When you read an interesting book, time flies and you can read a lot in a day. And when you read an uninteresting book, you look around, different thoughts creep into your head in addition to reading, it's impossible to concentrate. So if you are interested in your work, you will not be distracted.
From this it follows that you are not very interested in what you do.

It's completely fine to catch up with your friends/family but you should always limit yourself, 15 mins or less are enough for chatting with a person. Then just get back to work. It shouldn't be over the limit.

It's a pure waste of time.
It is not a waste of time, keep chit-chatting. You have a need to socialize, don't fight it, otherwise it'll get worse. You are not a robot that works uninterrupted, it's very healthy to have social breaks and gossip with managers.

Maybe for you. Guessing you never talked to a therapist, especially about what you just wrote above.
Maybe I'm a therapist. If he keeps finding himself in this situation the last thing he should do is force himself not to do it.

About gossip:

This "Bad” Behavior We Judge Ourselves For Is Actually Very Healthy

Gossiping is fun.

And distracting.

It’s a way to connect.

"At least 85% of gossip is harmless, just the sharing of relatively neutral information, while only 15% of gossip is negative or mean-spirited"

Yes, even physiologically. Gossiping actually relieves stress and anxiety. In one Stanford experiment, participants who witnessed someone behaving badly felt relieved once they warned others about that bad person and their bad behavior.

Maybe you're not.

If he's smart at all, he'd ignore this expert's advice to go & gossip because it's "healthy".

But hey, each to their own.

2 year old thread but i would say isolation is not too tabboo
if you want that sort of thing it's important to network. send pm's to people on here. form connections. even if they're purely online.
join discord groups. irc channels. telegram channels. slack or matrix. start tweeting. whatever platform you like, utilize it. never know who will shoot you a PM.
i got random pm's from people here 6+ yrs ago and still keep in contact with.

Be a total asswipe to the people you tend to talk to on a regular basis. To the point that they won’t ever want to chit chat even if you initiate the conversation. 100% tried and tested.

Yeah this works.

In the end, if youre too absent, for too long, people wont want to talk to you much anymore anyway.

And depending on who you are, people may not want to talk to you even if youre present.

In the end, alone/loneliness is the true path, because you have the power, not other people. But its lonely as fuck is the downside.

I am also the same bro last week I stayed at home and didn't go out for 8 days straight. Something that helps me keep my sanity is journalling, meditation (still struggling with consistency) and wake-up cold water shower. I also started sharing my stuff with my GF more even tho she didn't understand what I do, just venting out things out of my mind helps.

GL.
