Just thought i'd let you know this is what visitors see when viewing your site.

Page title (or title tag) Page title is the most influential place with keyword phrases. ...
Page description (or META description tag)...
Keyword META tag
Body content
link
URL

Can you tell me in detail where it is placed in the body content?

Keyword density is vital. You need to have no more than 3-4 keywords per page.
And of course your content should be optimized for 2 sides: for real users and for Search Engine bots.

use keywords in title tag, meta tag, meta description and also body of the content. While writing body of the content, use keywords in first and last 200 words. Inserting keywords in articles look naturally. you can use keywords in headings, image Alt tags,Anchor text.

Allegedly keyword stuffing is bad. Yet on some of my KWs I have one competitor who does this:
Select KW, and input it into every single H tag.
For example if he was writing an article about Best Car in 2021 here is how it would look on their site:
H1: Top 10 Best Car in 2021
H2: 1. Best Car in 2021: Ford Fiesta
H2: 2. Best Car in 2021: Toyota Aygo
H2: 3. Best Car in 2021: Honda Civic
H2: 4. Best Car in 2021: Mini Cooper
etc.

As far as I am concerned this is HUGE keyword stuffing, yet G ranks articles number 1 OR snippet for many KW.
So yes, everyone will tell you don't overdo it, look natural, write for humans not the algorithm, YET things like this happen.
Personally, I would refrain from keyword placement like above, but just so you have one more example I wanted to share.

The best way to add keywords is adding it in the first two lines of your content,

Latent Semantic Indexing keywords would be effective.

Change your strategy accordingly.

Make it keywords focused, you need to embed the keywords in it.

Use editors like word counter to evaluate kw density and place it evenly in a meaningful way.

I couldn't agree more.

Use keyword consistency in logical and inherent, which does influence in ranking website.
And in ideal, keyword density in 1-3 % per 100 words, which apparance that the page is about without engaging in keyword stuffing.
Keyword cannibalization, reduce the usage of similar keyword, spread throughout the content of your page and URL, causes not to discern which content to rank higher.

Use your keywords wisely throughout your article.
Use it in headings and subheadings.
Meta desc and keywords are vital.
Try using google's structured data markups.
Use it with the image alt tags.
Maintain good density and don't over stuff.

Keep the keyword in your-
URL
Meta title
Content title
Content body

Again, don't stuff your content with keywords unnecessarily. They should come naturally.

Add keywords to Meta Descriptions, Meta Title Tags and page URLs and Insert keywords in the first and last paragraphs and naturally throughout

Use it on the title, H2, and in some other parts of the articles. Don't just stuff kws everywhere, instead use LSI kws to fill up

  • Include Keyword in Meta title, this is the most important part, google just put too much weight on this for on-page SEO and keyword selection
  • Include keywords in H headings - do it as much as you can, I usually go with 3:4 ratio for this
  • Include keywords in the first paragraph (intro)
  • For the keyword density, check the top 5 or 10 ranking websites and make it on average the same, just don't spam it at some part and leave other parts, make a good diversity, usually in each 1-2 paragraphs

You should insert keywords into your content writing using the following steps:
  1. Use Keywords in Your Meta Description.
  2. Insert Keywords in Your SEO Title Tag.
  3. Use Keywords in Your Article Title.
  4. Use Keywords Within the First 200 Words.
  5. Insert Keywords Naturally Throughout the Article.
  6. Use Keywords in the Last 200 Words.
