How do I monetize 1000 daily UV's

Hey BHW.

I own a website about a pretty famous video game, and it's currently set up as an autoblog.
I am getting around 1000-1500 visitors every day, but somehow I managed to only get like 5 adsense clicks in 3 months. Most of my posts are just youtube videos, could this be the reason for my low click-through rate?
I'm using the Wootube theme, maybe you guys can suggest me a better one.

I've also tried content-locking with leadbolt, which is now earning me around 3 dollars a day, but I'm thinking that there has to be a way to earn more than that from 1000 visitors.

Yea if you have videos than visitors dont look at the site but just the video. i got 1000 visitors a day on my site and get from 5-10 clicks a day (.90cents) so that could be the reason.

use image placeholders instead of videos. contentlock the vids.

Also look on clickbank for cheats or other things about the game. Try gathering some cheats or tips and sell a cheat sheet for a few bucks via paypal. Gamers always want an edge. Create an edge.

Now that you have a steady stream of traffic it is all about testing and tracking different offers! In the meantie you could always try building a list with the traffic you are currently getting and mail them to come back over and over again!


P.S. getting $3 from a 1000 UVs is not too bad

You need to add an email submit light box to the site that will get people to give you their email in exchange for some "free cool shit." You may want to test what "free cool shit" works best like cheat codes, tips or secret tweaks to change a character or something.

Use Aweber or constantcontact for your EMS.

Then watch your targeted niche list grow and grow.

Then send them some more "free cool shit" via the email using an autoresponder after 1-2 weeks.

Now you have built some trust with them, send them something you will make money off of, like a recommendation to buy a product that gives you a CPA commission or something.
