How do I market this site?

I have a new site to market, bagelroar.com. It's a humor site, with no ads, no money making of any kind on it yet. Basically, my job is to drive interested traffic to the site.

White hat / black hat, doesn't really matter. I haven't been able to come up with any good keywords to target SEOwise because it's a general site intended for all people.

What would you do to drive traffic?

 

Get free referral traffic.

Post some jokes or humor such things with links to your website on various joke websites/forums.

 

I would repost funny youtube videos with a watermark to the site. I noticed that funny videos always get a lot of views. Don't forget to add a link to the site in the description because people are lazy and would rather click than type

I'm not targeting any keywords, just general audience. Why would a linkwheel help?

Yeah post videos to all the major video sites. Alsp swap links with other video sites. Preferably video links rather than text links.
