How do i market on reddit?

I need some help I know people out there are making money of reddit i browse the site daily and im just thinking the traffic is easy. I think a lot of its users have $$$ to spend so i was maybe try to sell some electronics or something. Now theres two things i was thinking of trying.

Go on ask reddit subreddit.

make thread like what is something everyone needs for under $500

use upvotes and my accounts and commmet bunch of amazon links or if that isnt allowed i would send them to my sites.

Whats the secret to selling to these guys without them calling it shilling.

It's easier to decide on the product you want to sell and then think of methods of promoting that specific thing. It's no good sitting there trying to think of creative ways to market without knowing the specific thing it is you want to promote. I have found that it's much easier to think of those methods when you have focused a little. It also helps narrow the field a little when it comes to doing research.
 
Amazon links are basically verboten on Reddit.

The secret is to make it appear natural (easier said than done). Sales when it comes to Reddit are going to be determined by the subreddit to which you post and number of eyeballs on your post. The first one is easy - find a subreddit where your link doesn't get ghosted and where people may actually be interested in it. The second one (eyeballs) can be extremely difficult. I've found 19 different factors that are going to directly affect your ability to get traffic.

For the most part, Reddit only cares about bottom of the barrel spam, putting some work into your marketing plan can get you past the filter, but then you have keen-eyed Redditors who can sniff out marketing even if you think you've covered literally every base.
 
Get some karma on your main account before you start posting links. After that don't only promote your own stuff. It also helps if you have a bot to upvote what you are promoting. But make sure the upvoting is also done from accounts with a decent amount of karma, that look like real user accounts. Like the others mentioned, Reddit is a hard place to spam.

I've made a lot of money on Reddit and I'll be the first to tell you how difficult it is. Affiliate links are usually blocked on most subs, and if they're not, they'll be called out right away.

As others mentioned you really need to create good content, however it's no guarantee. I've seen guys create amazing OC (must have taken weeks to create). It was getting loads of traction and was actually on the front page. One guy called him out on a well hidden affiliate link, everyone jumped on the circle jerk bandwagon and he was DESTROYED.

They've also been ramping up anti spam measures like crazy, many of the good methods have been shut down
 
Im not a reddit expert but having used it a few times what i'd suggest... You need to warm the account up first before posting links. Create the account and wait a few weeks. Post some short comments here and there on a particular subreddit. Get to know the moderators. Give some free advice where you can. Stick to one subreddit only so people get to know your name.

You can share links over PM initially... ask people to PM you if they need help with their problem, then you can PM them your CPA link.

Build you reputation and when you have some rep, don't post the CPA link itself. Post a link to your landing page, which can just be an article on your blog, with the CPA link in the article. If you dont have a blog make a free landing page on wix/weebly/ etc..

I have more questions how aged should i be making the accounts cause at this point im already thinking of using 50 diff accs and ill be posting in my target subreddit. I will say after 4 weeks ill start posting links whenever i can and ill use an upvote service here. But what sucks is those real keen redditors that like to fuck shit up lol.
 
The only way to market or promote anything on reddit is to make it seem entirely accidental and besides the point. That's a very fine skill.

If I wanted to promote a service, I'd be more likely to go to some relevant subreddit and ask 'Is SUCH AND SUCH legit? Has anyone else used it?" And then people will go check it out.

The only trick to reddit marketing is that trying to sell or promote anything is highly taboo. You have to introduce what you want into the conversation in an entirely transparent, ingenuous fashion, or it will only provoke negativity. Even people trying to market genuine interesting, relevant content (like youtube channels) can get shit on, now and then. Though it's a bit more accepted in some communities than others.
 
Put link on Reddit profile is good for SEO or not ?
 
Go ask them if you have an acct already. You can try this sub /r/answers

Not sure if there are any "tricks" but in case you wanted to know, You gain karma for each upvote you get for a comment you make or for each upvote you get on a post you made, 1 for each upvote in both cases.

ok, seems the best way to gain that would be posting or commenting what people would like
