I'm curious on how to get my site mobile compatible. If anyone could help let me know!
I'm curious about this as well... If anyone has experience please share..
I assume you need to detect the user agent programmatically, then display the site accordingly
It depends how your site is built. If it is a WP site, you want a responsive theme. These theme rearrange elements on the page so that they fit differently depending on the screen resolution. To see what I mean review this mobile responsive theme:
When you look at the site, make the window of your browser smaller or larger and see how the theme changes design.
So if your customers are viewing the site on a phone, they will we get a nice usable site.
Does that help?
This is one method. We create mobile sites for businesses and we embed a script in the static site html so that when it is accessed from a phone it will go to the mobile site but if accessed by a computer then it will go to the regular page.
Pm me for more details

Many WordPress themes offer a mobile version as well.
I used http://www.dudamobile.com/ and it worked fine
actually you can monetize your mobile traffic even if your site isn't optimized for mobile devices. some networks offer that option
Yes, Epom platform has UniMobile solution. Might be an option for you.

You should have a responsive theme and if you don't you can install the WP touch plugin.
We always see to it that the site is responsive. You can use media queries for displaying and optimizing your existing websites.
do you know about Bootstrap ?? One of the popular framework at the moment.
You have to look for "Wp Touch Plugin". Its very easy to install and manage.
For the first option you can redirect mobile users to a completely different URL where you host a mobile only version of the site.

The new thing is CSS3 media quaries, read about them
I am too getting messages in Webmaster tools, and mine is MyBB forum. I think we need to change the theme.
