How do I make domain.com/forum to forum.domain.com?

I have googled but I can not find anything about how to do it. I think I just have to place the 'forum' folder in a different location? I am not sure what to do.

Create a subdomain in Cpanel would probably do it

- Creat supdomain with "forum"
- Add supdomain in your DNS account
- Go to DNS your supdomain to your hosting IP

Exp, i have domain: abcd.com, hosting IP: 179.243.120.89 and want creat sundomain: forum.abc.com.

- Craet subdomain: forum.abc.com
- Add supdomain forum.abc.com in my DNS account
- DNS forum.abc.com to 179.243.120.89

It will be done.
