How do I make a Weibo account and is it free?

I made an account and saying that I got to pay 1000 to have a weibo account? WTF?

it's completely free, I have one weibo account which I don't use anymore, it's more than 6 month old, you don't ned to pay 1000 for it! PM me if you're interested :)

Do a personal account not a company acc.

It not only 1000, you need a registered translation of your W8 or W9 and a lot more documentation send via postal delivery. It will cost you > 500 extra $$$

This is not meant for foreigners unless you are Pepsi Co. (than even them, they are not foreigners currently because they also set a corp there).

But If you want to use weibo as TW, with a personal account it would be fine. Afterwards you can buy a lot of things (this is a P2W social network, like LINE or WeChat, this is the oriental style)
 
Are there any bots in the marketplace for weibo?

Weibo is free,
Obviously with a free account there are limitations in terms of design and features but you can start promoting your business with a free account.

I think just email unless they've changed things recently. In that case there's lots of temp phone services out there.
 
you should not be using weibo at all. use weixin. and company accounts are far cheaper there
 
i cannot register weibo, it requires sms but does not allow outside of china. what can i do
