How do I learn copywriting?

Hi Himanshu, I don't know much about copywriting but I would advise you to read some of the books from this link and you will be just fine. Just to mention, you are allowed to download 5 books per day without account.

Doing relevant research before creating your copy will come in handy because the more information you have on the topic, the more sophisticated copy you can create. Also, use language that will inspire others and make them want to continue reading. Eye-catching headlines will help as well.

Use ur skills and expertise.. also, there are several sites to help you with the tips ..or maybe online courses

I learned few things about copywriting :
Its extremely competitive and high paying niche
You gotta be a native speaker / writer because thats what clients are look for
You gotta have experience in sales and/or writing
You should bring +roi if you plan to do sales / ad copy because thats what clients want

You can find plenty of books and courses to learn copywriting , I took one by digitalmarketer.com , try to sub niche like for example sales copywriting.
Good luck now.

I'm not a particularly good writer but copywriting is a skill that you can just get started right away.

You should try to sell something and measure your ability to do so with written words.

I've always been a science guy. Good at math, physics and have a career in programming.

However, the art of selling through written copy has always fascinated me.

Reading about copywriting will only get you so far. You have to go out and do it. Measure yourself and get better over time.

When I did my 6 month affiliate journey (grew a site from $0 / month to $500 / month), I knew nothing about writing. But I used analytics like conversion rate and SEO ranking to fine tune my content. Overtime many people bought via my affiliate links. It's really surprising but it works. Get personal with it is my advice :).

Yes, in my experience this is good advice. Like any writing, blogging or form of journalism you need to write, write and write some more! When you're not writing you should be reading the best in the business or people who are already (successfully) doing what you want to do. The good thing about copywriting things like sales pages is that you can draft them out against an offer and test them out on the open market for feedback (in the form of currency and orders) or tumble weed silence if nobody is interested. Tweak, edit and re-write if it's not working.

Swipe files are good for inspiration and as a guide.
