Could anyone help me how to find out what I'm good at?

I am 20 years old and I have no work experience.
Today I am reselling football shirts with a friend from middle school.
I would like someone to help me with the question I asked up there.
I hear people saying '' work on something you're good at '. And when you don't know what you're good at, what do you do?

I will say work on something you're interested in, after checking multiple subforums. You will become good at it, in no time.
Especially, don't miss checking out Making Money and My Journey Discussions subforums to get idea and start your own.

Welcome to BHW :)

That's a tough question, and only you can validate/prove that.

Also why are you posting this on the Introduction Section tho :D
Welcome to BHW nonetheless :D

You have to solicit honest feedback from others. Generally friends and family are no bueno for this. For example, if you think you are good at art, post some of your work on platforms like reddit, deviant art, etc. and ask for 100% blunt and honest feedback. If you think you are good at web design, post an example of a site you have developed (on reddit, here, etc.)

A lot of times you need to figure out what JOB or type of WORK will be successful based on your SKILLs. Are you really social / a good talker / naturally charismatic? Then try sales (go find a real estate agent or insurance salesperson and see if you can be their apprentice.) If you are really into coding, find a part time job / paid internship doing programming and see how it goes. (Personally, I used to think I would be into programming, and had done it as a hobby for quite some time - then I got an internship working on a website and that is pretty much how I realized I actually HATE coding as a job!)

Also accept and embrace the fact that you will likely wind up doing something else eventually; very few people hit the nail on the head and find their perfect role in their 20s.

IMO, you should perform IKIGAI exercise of finding a match between the skill sets, interest and passion you possess and you will surely arrive at a logical inference of what you should pursue. Search IKIGAI on the internet and take it forward. Good luck!

You have given answer to your own question - Marketing & Sales

If you find success with what you are doing right now then probably you are good at it.

Check out the list of money-making careers online/offline. Find which topic grabs your attention and gives you hope to start. If you're already doing good in the current reselling business, continue doing it.

You should be working at something you enjoy.
You may not be good at it yet.
People who aren´t naturals have to work harder but it doesn´t mean they can´t be better than the guy born with talent.

Trial and error is the only way. Eventually you’ll find something that you will really like.

20 is Too Young. Dont lie to yourself and you will notice it. Try as much as possible
