How do I know if it ranked?

Open your browser in Incognito, go to Google, search for your keyword, look where you are ranking

Use your Google Search Console, then performance and filter by query. Enter your keyword there, then check the average position box.

You can search with

site: yourdomain.com

on google that will show you the indexed pages:)

You can search on exact keyword you are focusing to see wether your result is on google search results (SERPS ) or not . You can check index by search google on index:URL .

You can use scrapebox or any rank tracker even there is free sites to monitor on autopilot.

Hi bhw fam,

Another noob questions for all the beginners like me, how do I see if one of my blog posts actually ranked?

Thank you in advance
you see traffic pouring in on your site :P

but in all seriousness, a serps tracker for ranks on keywords.
or Google web master tools actually does show you ranked keywords for ones you ain't actively tracking too.

Use GSC to see which of your pages are ranking. You can also see the queries for which your blog is ranking.

In most cases, GSC does not give exact data. I mean, If you see that for specific keywords you rank 3 but for real SERP you might not look the same. Did it ever happen to you?

You could literally use Ahref, In most time you would see slight to no variations of SERP.

It had happened to me before but also, it have got it right a lot of times as well. You have to filter the country as well. Maybe for your country you are rank in a different position than for the US. So you have to make sure you add the country.
