How do I hide my VBulletin Forum from XRumer posters?

I'm starting a VBulletin forum and it's already being hit by XRumer, kharma's a bitch! Anyone know how I take this off of XRumer's grid? Thks guys.

yeah, if they learn the footprints i've changed and create a new xas_AI.txt file of course, derp derp.

how does xrumer beat a custom human test? if i make an array of answers to questions and do a check? answer it doesnt.

how does xrumer bypass validation? well, it pretty much fails on this at the moment. i mean it can do it but more often than not noob xrumer posters will let this go as a hard fail.

Im not sure if this is true let alone would work but I remember reading somewhere that Xrumer will fill out EVERY password field on the page, so I don't know if it would be possible to make a hidden password field that if filled in user registration is invalidated.​

Your only solution is to remove them weekly, manually.
Get a VA for $3 an hour from odesk and give them 2 hours a week to do this.

Your forum is just one out of thousands.

I actually went with "Question and Answer" in vBulletin, random questions like, what's the US president's last name, etc. It's working pretty well so far! Thks guys.

xrumer can't work out the answer to a question you have created, i.e.:

"what color are my blue eyes?" = blue
"type the number four hundred and twenty three in numbers" 423
"which is bigger elephant or mouse?" elephant

I'm thinking of starting up a de-answer service.

It'll give out an API where xrumer can pass up the question to a guy in China to solve for 1c per correct answer.

Will I be rich?

this is the answer right here. make all 4 changes and you should be good to go. I rarely ever even get new accounts registered anymore from xrumer. good luck!
