How do i grow my account?

Hi, as the title says i need help growing my account,

Some Info,
my friend who owns the account just started collage and has pretty much no time for it anymore, so he said as long as i keep growing it for him i can shout out my acc which is at 3.5K, so i saw this as an opportunity,

The acc:
Humor niece
41.9K Followers
4 Following
2-3K likes per pic
100-200 comments per pic
uploads 1 pic every 3 days
(note this is my friends setup)


My idea:
Start uploading 2-3 pics a day,
start doing sfs
original content
etc


Do you guys have any tips on how to grow an acc efficently?
Note im not a noob nor pro at this, i have my own ideas aswell and ive been sneeking around blackhat and doing some research.

Your line of though is correct.
Join free shoutout groups (you can find some here on BHW) for the sfs
You don't have to create original content but it will be a plus if you do.
Additionally you can purchase a bot like followliker or massplaner to automate the work

Try to use the correct hashtags in your niche, and shootouts work fine to grow.

Mine aren't the best either, specially after instagram latest purge. Also, I wouldn't advice upgrading to business account as i believe that deeply affected my engagement.
Try to improve the specs- Like using 'relevant' option and only photos with less than 50 likes. Follow using 'User's Follower' (your competitors). This is the simplest thing one can do to achieve at least some results.
