How do I get twitter traffic with Software?

I have a few blog/news type sites that I am trying to drive traffic to and I have Tweet Adder with about 20 accounts running but the traffic is just soooo minimal.

I am new to this and I'm sure I am doing it wrong.

I ended up making RSS feeds from new articles from my sites and am using those as the tweets with [#RELEVANTHASHTAG] in front of the post title.

I profile search and set it to follow people with relevant keywords in their profile.

I am kind of lost now as to where to go next and what I am missing to get traffic. I am getting like less than 10 hits a day from twitter over 20 or so accounts and I know that is terrible so any tips from people out there?

What exactly is that? TweetAdder has a reply feature but it only replies when someone mentioned you - and if no one is mentioning me then its kinda useless no?

Any other tips?

That sounds a lot easier said than done, no? I have a very hard time getting targeted users to follow back.

A sexy primary photo always helps your follow back conversions

Give them a reason to click on your link, like asking them a question or asking for their input in regard to your articles that you post

I think his question was how to get the users to follow him back. But that's good advice for promoting CPA's/links/websites.
