How Do I Get Profile Backlinks Indexed?

Here's a scaled-down version of what I do, step by step. It takes a bit of work to setup, but once you do it'll streamline the overall process.

Setup Phase

1) Setup Bookmarking Demon Project -
BMD is now in version 5 which supports projects. Create a new project called "Profile Fastindex" or something.

Inside this project setup 10 Bookmarking accounts. You can put all 10 accounts at one site like Propeller, or spread them between Propeller, Digg, Oneview, etc. The key here is that any site you use must give you an RSS feed for your own bookmarks.

2) Initial Manual Bookmarks - Bookmark something (anything) at each of the 10 Bookmarking accounts you setup. This is just to get the RSS Feed started, as empty RSS feeds cause problems when working with them.

3) Mashup the RSS Feeds - grab the RSS Feeds from each of your 10 bookmarking accounts and mash them together with Yahoo Pipes to create a new RSS Feed.

4) Submit your Yahoo Pipes RSS Feed
to a bunch of RSS Directories (Aggregators) using RSS Submit.

Your setup phase is now complete. You now move on to the Bookmarking Phase. Here's the steps:

1) Profile Link Creation
- after you create your profile link, grab the URL for it and throw it into a text file. Do this for each of your 400 profiles.

2) BMD 'em - Copy and past the entire list from the text file into Bookmarking Demon in your "Profile FastIndex" project and do a run, bookmarking each profile. You need to change the settings to make sure it bookmarks 100% of your links unless you are going to do 2 runs or you'll miss some.

3) Ping Your Mashup Feed - after you're done, ping your Yahoo Pipes feed with either Pingler or Pingomatic.

That's it!

Everything else works automatically from here. The profiles will be bookmarked across your 10 Bookmarking accounts. They'll then be all mashed together again automatically using their RSS Feeds and Yahoo Pipes...and if your feeds is accepted at 100 RSS Aggregators you'll now have hundreds of links pointing back to the various profiles.

It'll be almost impossible for them NOT to be found.

If you thought this was helpful, please throw me some thanks.

MichiganManiac, many thanks for your advice. But I wonder that why bother use Yahoo Pipe and ping it as BMD will automatically ping your bookmark profiles anyway.

I guess its a catch all. You just do one ping on a super rss feed that has all of your bookmarked profiles in there.

One question from me regarding BMD. If you have a text file with say 400 profiles can it automatically bookmark all of these for you simply and easily?

I have Socialbot and its pretty crap at that, its ok for submitting a single page from your site but no good for a mass of URLS from loats of different sites. If it can then I'll grab a copy.

Do you make these profile with xrumer? I was just try this now, it seems there are one more work to do ,get indexed ,hehe ,form your post,
Thanks

i have never used xrummer. But could i load say 700 profile (need to indexed) in to xrummer and it will automatically blast them? And get them indexed?

A major problem people have is that they just want to create the profile, drop their link on their profile page, and get it indexed and counted by Google. Do this on a couple hundred sites and you have tons of backlinkes from different IP addresses all pointing to your site with your specified anchor text.

But that's difficult to do if you do NOT create some type of forum post which will link back to your profile page then there is no "path" for search engine spiders to follow in order to index that profile page.

Not that difficult at all.

Many forums display the birthdays of registered users at the bottom of the forum index. The usernames are usually clickable to the user's profile.

If you want G to discover and index your forum profile quickly, then set your birth date (year is not important) to the date AFTER the date of when you are registering your forum profile. For example, if I were registering a forum profile on 11/06/2009, then I would set my birthday to 11/07/1965.

So the next day arrives, 11/07/2009 in my case, G crawls the forum index, it sees the list of birthdays located at the bottom of the forum index, and BAM! G finds the link to your profile and spiders it.

Works great! I've tried this, and my profiles usually show up in the SERPS within a day or two.

hi,

Let's say you have created 500 profile pages with your link, do you submit each profile page to e.g. 10 different bookmarking sites / accounts or you spread it over the accounts, so in this case each bookmarking site got 50 profile pages bookmarked?

Thanks,

Marcel

Guys, Guys stop making work hard for indexing profile links first make sure you check that the links are indexed the right go to google and tye in site:sitename.com "profile user name" your then see if the link has been indexed if not get the google slingshot pdf from the download section, put it into practise and problem indexing links woill be a thing of the past. forget ping, rss its all to much hard work

I use a couple of scripts.

- Backlink Indexer Express - Basically scrapes content from an RSS feed and updates some free blogs via ping.fm with a link to your profile in each post.

- Backlink Booster - Updates all of the other sources in ping.fm with a link to your profiles.

- BMD - If they still aren't indexed via the first two sources I then use Bookmarking Demon.
