Hey guys,

I want to get my video on YouTube's first page.

Does anybody know what factors that play a role in doing this?

I know that view count matters a lot, and I have a company that'll give me those, but is there anything else that matters?

Comments? Rating?

Please help! thanks!

I would suggest reading the numerous posts that explain this using the search function. You would get a quicker answer there.

Go to youtube, type "youtube video marketing secrets" in the search box and some decent vids come up. It takes more work than it used to, but if you'll invest time, it pays off in the long run.

put your keywords in the beginning of the 'title, description' etc.. get lots of views and ratings.

Put as many tags as possible on the video. You can do this by clicking on "videos" and scroll down and add tags. Your video will pop up on the first page if someone types in some of your tagged words.
for example if your tags were: hello, dog, lawn, people, cake
And someone searched, "how to make a cake for a dog"
your video would pop up in either the first or second page.
Get lots of views and be lucky. This is something you have little control over. You can use lots of appropriate tags so the search knows to display it. Or pay youtube to promote the video. There's a promote button in the my videos section.

*Factual, detailed titles work best (search for a keyword that you?re trying to rank for and check out Google Ads for some ideas).

*Use main keywords and / or keyword phrases (name of the product, model works well).

*Make sure title show benefit or promise help (most of the time people are looking for help, solutions or answers to their questions).

*Ensure that your video delivers on the promise.

*Use related Keywords (search for your keyword Google Keyword Tool and see the list of ?Keyword ideas? ? this is most relevant phrases considered by Google).

*Try to fit your message in 66 characters or less.
