How do i generate blog traffic

For newbies it's never been easy to get free traffic because it's very difficult to get top rank in search traffic. Remember, I never say newbie bloggers can't get top on first page of Google.

I would say start with social media and get some referral traffic. My servers crashed yesterday due to all the traffic I got (500+ users at the same time with over 1000 pageviews per minute).

First of all, you need to have quality contents on your blog. You can write anything you want but a comment of hot world issues is recommended.

Then, you should do the following things to get quality traffic:
1. SEO - it's how you can get search engines recognize you and make you into top searches
2. Facebook - either you make a fan page for your blog, or purchase Facebook ads to introduce your blog
3. Twitter - you can set in your blog so that every time you post new post, it will Tweet automatically.
4. Google - not Ad Sense, you should use Adwords.
5. Share about it in your area by hardcopy.

It is best to build links, once you have started to build links on high authority sites surely you will attain traffic. It is also best to use social media, just share your contents and get likes and shares, this will be an effective ways to get traffic. Yes, agreed here. SEO will give you organic free traffic you crave. However, social media traffic cannot be ignored - you'll need to harness the power of paid traffic IF you really do have the budget for it!
