Hello Guys,

I have been facing some issues with tracking for the past few days. I have shared some screen shots below and please take a look at them. First, I have set up the scroll tracking properly with the tags and triggers and previewed it and it fired successfully. But when I recreate the button track and previewed it, the scroll tag fired but the button click does not fire. I have tried several different ways but I am not successful. In other words, I am not able to go to the next step for the button track. Please, someone who is a web analytics expert, can you help me solve this issue? Where is the problem actually?

Thanks for sharing this information.
Very interesting strategy.
What strategy are you talking about? Please explain a little? I'm really having a lot of trouble with this. Do you have any solution for this?

If your **scroll tracking tag fires but the button click tag does not fire in Google Tag Manager (GTM)**, the issue is usually with the **click trigger configuration or button selector**. Follow these steps to fix it: --- ### 1️⃣ Enable Built-in Click Variables GTM must capture click data. **Steps** 1. Go to **Variables** in GTM 2. Click **Configure** under *Built-in Variables* 3. Enable: - Click Element - Click Classes - Click ID - Click Text - Click URL Then open **Preview mode** again and test. --- ### 2️⃣ Use the Correct Trigger Type Many buttons are **not links**. If you used **“Click – Just Links”**, it will not fire. ✅ Use: **Trigger Type:** `Click – All Elements
Yes, I first triggered the preview with the click class and then according to the data I saw in the preview, I submitted the tag setup and previewed it. I did everything correctly but it is not firing in any way. Could this be a theme-related problem? I am not able to solve it in any way.
