How do I find top rankings without demo ?

Sorry for the fundamental questions, I have not been able to find the answers for this.

I am a media buyer, I buy sites on the top spots for specific keywords. Most of these keywords are demographic related "Springfield plumbing" my problem is I cannot determine the top spots for the keyword "plumbing" without google showing my local results. Is their a way to see top rankings for keywords that do not include demo data?
