I am experimenting with socks and when I load a free sock proxy IP (some do work) I load the port too. I do this on my browser setting and all is fine.

When I use a IP finding tool it shows me my IP which I assume loads on the internet like a proxy IP..My tool will not show me my port or the ports of other proxies I test...http://www.ip-adress.com/ip_tracer/ ...are there better tools?

This is what I am trying to learn..I am wondering if I loaded a friends IP # in my web browser setting would it work on the internet and I would look like my friends location and IP...how would I know what port he was or what to load in the port setting

I have a feeling this may be impossible, but that is why I am here to learn.
