First off, sorry if this is the wrong section. Second, this is going to be a complete noob question, as I have no clue what any of this is. So about three months ago someone designed and coded my website and helped me whenever I needed help editing something on my website and he usually did it for me. About a month ago he totally blocked me on everywhere I could communicate with him and I've been stuck. I want to add a video to my website, and I have no idea where to edit it or how I would go about doing that.

My hosting is Dreamhost if that helps.

If someone could please help me out I would appreciate it a ton. Thanks

You need to login to your cpanel.

www.yoursite.com/cpanel and login using the hosting details.

Once you are logged in, you should go to the file manager which will take you to the public_html folder where all your files will be. You will have to figure out which file to edit depending on which page the content is to be added. This step can be really complex if its a CMS, or its custom coded or if its html.

Then fiddle through the codes and edit where its needed to putin the video.

Cheers! You are done.

Or else, you can hire a freelancer if you want it done quick. Trying to fix it yourself will be good too, you will learn as you do.

What CMS (Content management system) do you use?
If it is Wordpress it shouldn't be that hard, there are tons of tutorials on the internet.
