How do i drive more traffic to my wordpress blog.

I have a wp design blog having feeds about WordPress themes and plugins along with some tutorials.how do I drive more traffic to it.currently it have 100 daily pageviews in average.

If you are talking about organic traffic then it will come with time. Publish regularly, comment on other blogs to get backlinks. Dont care about SEO for atleast before 100 Posts.

But if you want to temporarily spike up the traffic then reddit is the best source i've found so far.

I also have a new blog which i started a month back and i seem to be getting now 100+ visitors daily and 200+ pageviews daily. I have 60 Posts which are above 350 words minimum and they seem to be scoring good traffic from google.The big spike in organic traffic comes after 6 months of blog.So waiting for that and till then updating content regularly.

You have many choices here, some of which include, but are not limited to:

  • PPC advertising (it costs money, and if you don't know what you're doing, you'll lose money)
  • Social media (it's "free" and if you have a following on a social media site, post the link there)
  • Search engines (good SEO takes time, so don't expect instant long-lasting results)
  • Purchase traffic (I don't recommend this as the traffic is usually low-quality)
Experiment with different methods and find out what works for you.
 
Start by word of mouth then start some form of ad campaign. The free options are just social networking really.
 
You can follow basic tips:

-Write regular basis
- Write 300-600 words per post
- Use SEO plugins
- promote to social networking sites
 
I guess quality content, blog commenting, forum posting and social networking are the best ways to drive more traffic to a blog.
 
My advice is to use facebook ads. It is always the great way for traffic income. You won't pay that much and if the website has a good content viewers will come alone.
 
try using social media and maybe a pay with a like plugin? to view your content
 
Social sharing is always the great option and if you want other SEO techniques then here are many services which claims very best traffic sources for you.
Some software also available which will help you to get traffic.
Yahoo Answers is also great option to get traffic. :)
 
one thing i used to do was write guest post, you can try that at shoutmeloud or find some other yourself.
 
you need to market it in the free marketing site as many as you can find in addition do your seo for the meta keywords and phrases this encourages the search engines to list your blog in search results advertise the address were and when ever you can fact you should have put a link to it in your question
 
why not giveaway some themes , register on web design forums and promote your site .

Add and follow people with similar interests. (wordpress, design, themes, etc)

Create content, high quality content.
Repost content, quality, relevant content.

I would say that you want 3 pieces of content a day. That means that you social post that stuff, every time.

The people that follow you will latch on, share, talk and tweet. Keep it up and your shit will grow.
 
i I usually use Redit or post on Google + . Also, I usually resort to traffic exchange sites like EasyHits4U or LeadsExchange. I get alot of hits like that. It works.
 
You can use social media's like FB, G+, Twitter, and LinkedIn etc to promote your site. Add quality unique articles regularly to your site and try high authority guest posts too.
