Ok so I'm still learning and not really sure what to search for on Google because I do not know what this is called so here goes

I have a good domain name for a cam site. I am signed up with a few PPL programs with them.

How would I set it up so I can link directly to a models room with my domain. Example: "mydomain".com/ModelName

I do NOT want ModelName."mydomain".com which I think is a subdomain? So, how would I set it up so I can have the model name after mydomain.com/ ?

My domain is through NameCheap btw if that matters

    Thanks!

use a 301 redirect in cpanel, or if you have wordpress installed do it inside wordpress with a plugin :)

Thanks. I'm not really sure how to do that lol and I'm not sure I can.. I don't have hosting and dont use WP. Not sure if I made myself clear so I'll try to explain again

I'll use a cam site as an example. Ok so lets say there's a model on chaturbate. Her name is UglyChick69.

Well lets say I'm affiliated with Chaturbate and want to use my domain name instead. I know how to forward my domain name to chaturbate.

But, how do I set it up so when someone types in mydomain.com/UglyChick69 it goes to her room?

Make a WordPress site with your domain. Make a page for each model, and then 301 that page to where you want it to go.

But that would take forever and probably cost more money.

Isn't there a way to joint point mydomain/whatever to a specific url?

Use my favourite technique then and pay someone to do it.

    Code:
    <html><head>
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=http://example.com/">
    </head></html>
    1. Copy and paste the above in a text editor (like Notepad or TextWrangler).
    2. Edit http://example.com/ to the URL you want them to be redirected to.
    3. Save the document under the name of "index.html" (without the quotes, obviously).
    4. Upload the index.html file you just created in your directory.

(You will need to create a new folder via cPanel/File Manager or FTP. In your case the name of the folder will be UglyChick69. Then upload the index.html file to this folder.)

Ok I did exactly what you said and it's not working...

When I type in "MyDomain.com/FolderName" it takes me to a white page that says index of /"folder name" with a link that says Parent Directory and a link below that, that says Index.html

How do I get it to work? What did I do wrong?

I'm still having this problem. Can anyone help me?

Edit: I seemed to have fixed it. Turns out Index.html file needed to be lowercased (index.html) Man, how are noobs supposed to learn this stuff? Is there a guide or some site I can go on to find all this info?
